When I depart.

I'll be here to help you through

the darkest times.

Not as an angel, we both know

I won't qualify

But as a guardian- until you cross through to the other side.

I'll admire your face cast in the light of the sunset.

I'll whisper in your ear

when it's time to rise.

Keep your heart open,

you will feel the sun

Shining through my joy

from the blessed one.

Since I've gone, this love of ours won't end.

Through different dimensions

I'll still hold your hand.

You may catch a glimpse

in moments of deep despair.

Just my way of conveying,

I’m still right here.
